Combine some of the greatest classical musicians in the world with some of the greatest contemporary songs ever written and you have yet another fantastic release from the classical chillout range.
Whether a complete album covering all the biggest titles penned by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, ABBA, Neil Diamond, The Police and Adele to a compilation of today’s biggest artists such as Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Kings Of Leon, U2, Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Florence & The Machine and Radiohead this range of titles pushes the musical boundaries of both the rock and classical genres.
All 10 albums in this range have proven to be popular worldwide and provide some fantastic synchronisation opportunities.
Cymande
Cymande (Sah-mahn-day) are a British based funk group comprising band members from the Caribbean islands of Guyana, Jamaica and St Vincent.
The group developed a subtle and complex, deep Funk style influenced by calypso rhythms, Jazz, African music, American Soul and UK Rock.
Their first single release entitled ‘The Message’ reached number 20 on the US Billboard R&B chart. A Tour with Al Green followed culminating in a gig at the famous Apollo theatre in New York.
De La Soul and Grandmaster Flash have since used samples of Cymande’s work and the original albums are still widely sought-after by DJ’s and funk aficionados.
Worldwide rights are controlled on their 3 studio albums ‘Cymande’, ‘Second Time Round’ and ‘Promised Heights’.
Suicide Squad
Comic-Con in San Diego, California 2015 saw the world premiere of the trailer for Warner Bros' much anticipated 'Suicide Squad' and featured a suitably hauntingly dark version of the Bee Gees penned classic 'I Started A Joke'.
With the film not scheduled for cinematic release until August 2017 there remains plenty of time to tease with more trailers and film-set stolen moments but in the meantime satisfy your deepest dark desires with Francine Quinn's version of, what will sure to be, one of the years best selling film related singles.
With more high quality titles scheduled, studio label '20/20 Sound', is the TV/Film soundtrack label to watch for 2015.
Mad Men Music
When it comes to music, television and film, three is definitely not a crowd. It has for us, over the years, proven to be a harmonious and successful relationship.
‘The Very Best of TV & Cinema Classics’ (Volumes 1-3), ‘War Movie Themes’, ‘Western Film Themes’, ‘Soundtrack For Vampire’, the list goes on and the release of ‘Mad Men Music (Music To Watch The Boys & Girls Go By)’ added another internationally successful title to the many concepts inspired by the screen, both big and small.
From the opening instantly recognisable theme tune to Bob Newhart’s ‘The Driving Instructor’ sketch we take the listener on a smoke and alcohol fuelled journey through the testosterone filled corridors of fifties corporate New York whilst in the comfort of your own home leaving the listener inspired, unscathed and without the need of a dry cleaner.
My Name Is...

This title forms part of a uniquely styled and instantly recognisable film music range which celebrates the celluloid works of critically acclaimed and world renowned actors and directors.
'My Name Is... the Film Music of Michael Caine' includes recorded works from films such as 'Alfie', 'Zulu', 'The Ipcress File', 'A Bridge Too Far', 'Mona Lisa' and 'Batman: The Dark Knight'.
Also incuded is the track 'Carter Takes A Train', from the 1971 cult classic 'Get Carter', which has been introduced to a younger audience with its use in the Honda TV commercial 'Impossible Made Possible'.
Bang, Bang...
Bang, Bang… The Film Music Of Quentin Tarantino
Quentin Tarantino, film director, screenwriter, producer, cinematographer and actor. He rose to fame in the early 1990s as an independent filmmaker whose films use of nonlinear storylines and aestheticization of violence have won him both many fans and accolades.
From the outset of his career he has made music an integral part of the cinematic experience.
“To me, movies and music go hand in hand. When I’m writing a script, one of the first things I do is find the music I’m going to play for the opening sequence”.
The first thing we did when devising the ‘The Film Music Of...’ concept was to create a range of albums both appealing to the eye and the ears because, after all, artwork and music go hand in hand.
Other notable actors and directors in the range include Brad Pitt, Heath Ledger, Tom Hanks, Bruce Willis, Colin Firth and Martin Scorsese.
The Celtic Angels 'In The Arms Of The Angel'
'In The Arms Of The Angel’ takes landmark contemporary songs and gives them a Celtic feel by utilising the vocal talents of Dee Harrington and melding them with the artistry of multi-instrumentalist Mickey Simmonds.
Dee Harrington’s rendition of the Sarah McLachlan song ‘In The Arm’s Of The Angel' placed her firmly at the forefront when adding Celtic emotion to a popular song and this collection extends that theme.
Songs by Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Adele, Taylor Swift, The Passenger, Christina Perri together with titles from Disney's 'Frozen' the broadway sensation 'Wicked' are transformed into atmospehric vignettes of life in the Emerald Isle.
One of the many highlights that can be found on this enchanting release is the hauntingly ethereal version of 'Edge Of Night (Pippin's Song)' from 'The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King'.
The Celtic Angels 'True Colours'
‘True Colours’ sees the vocal talents of Dee Harrington once again working with the multi-talented and award winning musical maestro that is Mickey Simmonds.
This time around we find Dee Harrington’s rendition of contemporary hits include the Cyndi Lauper song ‘True Colours' which found its' way into our living rooms when used by SKY in the commercial promoting their HD service.
Other songs by artists such as Coldplay, Adele, Dido, Snow Patrol, Eurythmics and The Pretenders are once again transformed into ethereal dreamscapes of the Emerald Isle.
Other noteworthy albums by The Celtic Angels are ‘Winterland – A Celtic Christmas’ and ‘Celtic Woman’.
The Very Best Of Sci-fi & Fantasy
There are some films where the music plays an integral part and by identifying the forthcoming Zachary Snyder film 'Sucker Punch' (2012) as a future cult classic in the 'Donnie Darko' vein we created 'The Very Best Of Sci-Fi & Fantasy'.
New material was recorded to open the proceedings and with the creative use of catalogue titles we represented not only the best of science fiction and fantasy but also the gaming world.
Whilst strong sales on iTunes have been achieved, expectations have been far exceeded in the streaming domain.
